Harris County was not included in Gov. Greg Abbott’s disaster declarations following the Memorial Day flooding. County officials are urging residents who were affected by the latest round of storms to report damage at readyharris.org. Harris County was included in the presidential disaster declaration for the flooding that occurred April 17-24. The deadline to apply for Disaster Assistance for the April flood is June 24.
