Calcasieu Lake — HR&G reported east catches of trout and redfish under birds. Redfish are good at the jetty on shrimp.

Galveston — Guide Mike Williams of Tarpon Express reported easy limits of trout from 3-5 pounds. Surf anglers caught scattered trout on live bait. Matagorda — Guides Ken Marshall, Tommy Alexander, Michael Rolf and Charlie Paradoski reported limits of trout on soft plastics. Redfish are scattered over deep shell. Lake Livingston — Guide Simon Cosper reported quick limits of white bass under birds. Drifting over humps and points has produced solid fish as well.
