Shakespeare at the Pearl is free

Shakespeare in the Shade presents Shakespeare at the Pearl — a free performance at 6:15 p.m. on June 9 at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.

The Tomball-based Shakespeare group that usually performs in Burroughs Park will celebrate the famous playwright by performing vignettes from his works with ties to France. Harris County Commissioner R. Jack Cagle is the theater company’s founder, and the troupe and the commissioner will speak at the event.
