OUTDOORS REPORT

Calcasieu Lake — HR&G reported good catches of tripletail offshore. Reefs in West Cove are holding good numbers of trout.

Galveston — Guide LG Boyd reported good catches of trout on shell near deep water on Down South Lures. Tides have dropped a bit this week with westerly winds. Lake Livingston — Guide Simon Cosper reported easy limits of white bass and stripers up to 10 pounds in 10-15 feet of water.

Matagorda — Run-N-Gun Adventures reported good numbers of trout while wading with croakers. Drifters have dealt with west winds but found redfish behind slicks.
