Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk set Nov. 5 at LSC-Kingwood
On Nov. 5 walkers will join Scott Brady, partner for Joiner Architects and the 2016 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk Chair, at Lone Star College – Kingwood to walk to eradicate heart disease and stroke. The Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk will be 8-11 a.m. The walk, which will coincide with the Houston Heart Walk that is taking place in the Texas Medical Center, aims to welcome over 4,000 walkers and raise over $180,000. Last year the event had its best year thanks to donations from Kingwood Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Northeast, and Humble Independent School District, which has been the largest school district heart walk fundraising team in the State of Texas for the past three years.
