Canopy, a 3,000-square-foot resource and support center for cancer survivors, opened at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital’s Medical Plaza 1 in July. The center offers free cooking classes, support groups, medical information sessions, private counseling, massages, a medical resource library, a children’s playroom, a dressing room with a collection of wigs, scarves and breast prosthesis and a number of other wellness resources for cancer survivors.
