Swing music takes stage

Swing music revivalist­s Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Dosey Doe The Big Barn. Tickets start at $78 and include dinner, served until 7:30 p.m.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy experience­d extensive commercial success after releasing its third album, 1998’s “Americana Deluxe.” It included hits like “You and Me and the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight,” “Go Daddy-O” and “Mr. Pinstripe Suit.” The band performed during the 1999 Super Bowl halftime show.
