Country artists share twin bill

Chris Stapleton and Hank Williams Jr. will perform at 7:15 p.m on Aug. 12 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Lawn tickets are $30.

Stapleton was a breakout artist last year, with his release of his first solo studio album, “Traveler.” It won the Country Album of the Year Grammy last year. Stapleton’s summer tour is joined by Hank Williams Jr. during August. Williams Jr.’s 2016 release is titled “It’s About Time,” and it debuted at the No. 2 spot on the Top Country Albums chart.
