Clear Creek ISD educator named ‘teacher of year’
Clear View High School math teacher Dale Jensen was named Region 4 Secondary Teacher of the Year at an Aug. 3 special dinner and awards ceremony. This is the second year in a row a CCISD educator has received this Region 4 honor. Last year, a regional committee selected Anthony Tran of Clear Falls High School to represent the greater Houston region in the search for the Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year. Jensen, who was named CCISD’s 2016 Secondary Teacher of the Year in May, has been a high school math teacher for more than 17 years. He will now advance as the Region 4 finalist for the 2017 Texas Teacher of the Year honor.
