Bleu Edmondson will perform

Bleu Edmondson will perform at 8 p.m. on Aug. 13 at Masones Saloon in Cypress.

Edmondson was born in Dallas and now lives in New Braunfels. He has been playing the Texas music circuit since his solo debut Southland 15 years ago, an album that starts with a song titled “$50 and a Flask of Crown.” His latest is 2015’s “Augustus,” which includes well-crafted broken-hearted songs about couches for sale and premeditated cheating.
