Bluegrass bands ready to play

Three bluegrass bands will perform together at the next meeting of Bluegrass Rising at Weekley Community Center in Cypress at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.

Local bluegrass groups Texas Sky, Almost Heaven and Skidway River are expected to gather during the monthly meeting of bluegrass fans. Audience participation inclusive jamming starts at 4 p.m. and refreshments will be available.
