Event honors city employees

To salute employees for their contributions and accomplishments, Missouri City is hosting its first Employee Appreciation Day on Aug. 19 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

So that team members in all departments may participate in Appreciation Day events, non-emergency offices will be closed on that day, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Offices closing for the event include: City Hall Front Lobby, 1522 Texas Parkway, Inspections & Permits, 1522 Texas Parkway, and Municipal Court, 3849 Cartwright Road.

The Recreation & Tennis Center, 2701 Cypress Point Drive, will be open on Aug. 19 from 8-11 a.m. The facility will be closed for the remainder of the day to accommodate employees’ participation in the event.
