Annual glass show comes to town

The Houston Glass Club will host the 42nd annual Vintage Glass & Antique Show and Sale Aug. 19-21 at the Fort Bend County Fairground­s. The show’s focus will be on American glass made from the early 1900s through the 1960s.

More than 30 dealers from across the United States will offer more than 200 tables of colorful 1930s Depression era glass and elegant glass from the 1920s. American-made kitchenwar­e and pottery will also be featured.

Admission is $10 on Aug. 19 and $6 on Aug. 2021. Admission is good all weekend. Hours are 2-7 p.m. Aug. 19, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 20 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 21. Food will be available for purchase on site.
