Robbers flee with cash from Whataburger

A pair of gun-toting robbers held up a northwest Houston Whataburger Sunday, authorities said.

Around 5 a.m. two men entered an FM 1960 location of the fast-food chain and demanded money while holding employees at gunpoint. They made off with money out of the registers. But authorities followed them, using a tracking device in the money. They found the duo by an apartment complex off Mills Road, but the robbers escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
