Man, 75, dies after accident in north Houston

A 75-year-old man is dead after a crash in north Houston Saturday, police said.

Just after 6:30 p.m., the victim — whom police have not identified — was trying to make a right turn from Jensen onto Vaughn when a speeding Dodge Durango plowed into the back of his Nissan.

The Nissan rolled over the driver was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Dodge, a 33-year-old male, faces an intoxication manslaughter charge.
