Searchers find missing man’s body after a day
Search crews Sunday found the body of an 83-year-old man who had gone missing in the Houston area a day prior.
The body of James Welchko was located at about 3:30 p.m. in a large wooded area near his home, said Texas Equu Search Director Frank Black.
“We had to put more people in that area. It was a lot thicker brush — a lot easier for people to not be seen,” Black said.
No cause of death was immediately identified, Black said.
