Former Dynamo star Davis retires

Sporting Kansas City midfielder Brad Davis said he will retire after a 15-year career that included 10 seasons with the Dynamo, two MLS Cup titles in Houston and six All-Star selections.

Davis, 34, who joined Sporting Kansas City in January, has 60 goals and 132 assists in 419 MLS games.

Davis will be remembered primarily for 10 seasons in which he helped the Dynamo win MLS Cup titles in 2006 and 2007. He remains the Dynamo’s career leader in starts, games played and assists.
