Rockets at Thunder

3 When: 7 p.m. today TV: Root When the teams met in mid-November, Russell Westbrook schooled James Harden with 30 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Harden was held to 13 point sin the 105-103 loss. MLS Cup

8 When: 7 p.m. Saturday TV: Fox The faint hope that Clint Dempsey August with an irregular heartbeat, might return for the Seattle Sounders in the championsh­ip game at Toronto FC was dashed this week by coach Brian Schmetzer. The teams tied 1-1 in July.

Mavericks at Rockets

When: 7 p.m. Saturday TV: CBS The Rockets beat the Mavericks in the season’s second game in Dallas, then came home to beat them again in the third game. Dirk Nowitzki missed both games with an Achilles injury and hasn’t been completely healthy since.

Cowboys at Giants

When: 7:30 p.m. Sunday TV: CBS The Cowboys have already clinched a playoff berth and could win the NFC East with a victory. The Giants need a victory to keep their slim division hopes alive and maintain their wild-card advantage.

Ravens at Patriots

6 When: 7:30 p.m. Sunday TV: ESPN New England is closing in on another AFC East title but needs to continue winning for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Baltimore is in a tight race with Pittsburg for first place in the AFC North.

Rhode Island at Houston

7 When: 12:30 p.m. Saturday TV: ESPNU The Cougars didn’t schedule a pushover for this game. The Rams were No. 21 before a couple of losses dropped them out of the rankings this week. They upset No. 22 Cincinnati this season.

Jermall Charlo vs. Julian Williams

9 When: 9 p.m. Saturday TV: Showtime Charlo, who attended Alief Hastings, puts his unblemishe­d record (24-0, 8 KOs) and IBF junior middleweig­ht title on the line against unbeaten Julian Williams (22-0-1, 4 KOs).

Franklin Templeton Shootout

10 When: Thursday-Sunday, TV: Golf Channel today, Fox on Saturday Golf’s sill season ends with this team tournament, formerly the Shark Shootout, at Naples, Fla. Jason Dufner and Brandt Snedeker are defending champs.
