The Village of River Oaks set to enrich residents’ lives

-

In fall 2013, Bridgewood Property Company purchased nearly two acres for a new retirement community at 1015 South Shepherd. Bridgewood Property’s vision was to develop a community designed to complement the River Oaks area and cater to the needs of a sophisticated lifestyle, where one could retire without leaving the beloved, luxurious neighborhood.

This news for the River Oaks neighborhood was coupled with another announcement, that the community would be called The Village of River Oaks and managed by Houston based, Retirement Center Management (RCM). It will be locally owned and managed. Attention to detail, discovering each resident’s needs and enrichment of life are the backbone of RCM’s corporate philosophy.

What can one expect from the new community? A sophisticated, welcoming ambience with high-quality details. Services and amenities will include epicureaninspired cuisine, indoor heated pool and whirlpool spa, weekly housekeeping, reserved garage parking, valet and 24-hour concierge.

Apartment homes will offer one- and two-bedroom floor plans with or without a study. Apartment comforts include private balconies, walk-in closets, granite countertops, and floor-to-ceiling windows to showcase views of Houston and beautiful River Oaks. The community is designed for residents to relax and focus on more important thing: enjoying their life at their pace.

Bridgewood Property and RCM’s vision will become a reality this spring, offering senior living with an exceptional location and beautiful, spacious apartment homes without a “buy-in” commitment.
