Rockets (48-22) update: They won both games at Denver this season, including Saturday’s 109-105 victory, after getting swept by the Nuggets last season. … The Rockets are 71 3-pointers shy of Golden State’s singleseason NBA record but made a season-low five 3-pointers on a season-low 24 attempts against the Nuggets on Saturday. … Rockets guard James Harden had a tripledouble in all four Rockets games last week — the longest streak of his career and the second-longest in the NBA since the 1989-90 season. … Harden’s 786 assists are a franchise record with 12 games left. … Guard Pat Beverley has made only 21.4 percent of his shots in his last six games, averaging 6.3 points, after averaging 11.3 points on 45.8 percent shooting in the previous 10 games. … Guards Eric Gordon and Lou Williams have combined to make 44 of 113 shots (38.9 percent) in the last five games.
