Why hate on California?

Regarding “State fires back at California ban” (Page A1, Saturday), I find it sad that people aren’t discussing what’s in the discriminatory law that now applies to foster care and adoptions in Texas. I find it tragic that Texans aren’t angered and saddened by what it entails and who the real victims are — the children who need good homes.

I think everyone who supports this bill of hate should have a foster child show up at their door whom they have to love and care for. Shame on you. Brooke Compte via Facebook
