Timothy Winter, Tim, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Tim was born on February 9, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in Houston in The Rivercrest area and graduated from Lee High School. Tim attended Texas State University in San Marcos.

Tim met his wife, Mary Beth Swallen, in 1992 . They married on October 11, 1997. They have two children, Emily and Timothy.

Tim grew up in a large family and is the youngest of four brothers. He loved golfing, fishing, playing tennis, being on the water at their family home in Rockport, and enjoyed holiday festivitie­s with his family at their ranch in Brenham. Tim was an amazing carpenter and contractor and was a renovation­s specialist.

Tim’s greatest accomplish­ments were his children. He was so proud of his daughter Emily, an accomplish­ed gymnast, and now a freshman at Oklahoma University, and was excited to see her pledge Delta Delta Delta just a few weeks ago. He did his best to attend all his son’s baseball and football games, and hated missing when Timothy’s team won The World Series Game in Dallas in his final days. Tim loved and cherished all of his friends that he met over his lifetime. Especially his dear friends.

Tim is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Winter, their children Emily and Timothy Winter, his parents, Ramah and Allen Winter, his brothers Craig Winter,Scott, and his wife Cari Winter, and Andy, and his wife Corina Winter, and several nieces and nephews.

A family graveside service will be held in Independen­ce , Texas. A celebratio­n of life will be held for friends and family to attend at Christ The King Presbyteri­an Church at 1201 Silber Road Houston, Tx 77055 on Thursday, August 24th at 11am.
