WOODLANDS GETS NEW FIELDING’S ROOSTER

-

Chicken and more chicken — rotisserie, fried and wood grilled — is on the menu at the new bird-happy Fielding’s Rooster, just opened in the Woodlands.

From the founders of Fielding’s Wood Grill and Fielding’s Local Kitchen & Bar, the new casual concept is a modern neighborhood restaurant where chicken takes center stage. But not just any chicken: The menu sources free-range Rock Cornish chicken from small Amish farms in Indiana.

The chicken (which can be ordered whole, half or quarter) is done on the rotisserie over mesquite wood; fried Southern style (sweet tea brined) or Tennessee Red (spice coated); or wood grilled with either chimichurri sauce or piri piri sauce. Fielding’s Rooster is at 4223 Research Forest, Suite 100, The Woodlands.
