PATRICIA ANN VALENTINE (NEE BRUCKS)

Patricia Ann (Riddle) Valentine (nee Brucks) age 67, died on Saturday, September 23rd, in the comfort of her family. Born in Seguin, Texas, 1950, she was one of seven children, the eldest daughter of George and Carolyn Brucks. Patricia grew up in a large, close family, with many cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparen­ts and considered family to be one of life’s greatest gifts. She married Harry R. Riddle and together they had a son and a daughter. She enjoyed working as a bookkeeper, and in her free time, Patricia liked having many creative hobbies including cake decorating, ceramics, and hosting dinner parties. She loved to bowl and was on many bowling leagues throughout her life. She was an active member of the Lutheran Church and was a devout attendee. Patricia later met Leslie K. Valentine and they had 30 wonderful years as man and wife. She was especially devoted to her grandchild­ren and it gave her so much pleasure to be a grandmothe­r and Nana to them both. She is survived by her husband, Les, her son Bob (Riddle), her daughter, Heather (Sharp), her two grandchild­ren, Jack and Seneca (Sharp), her mother Carolyn (Holte) her brothers, Glenn, David, Alan, Donald and Robert, and her sister, Conde. Patricia was loved by family members and friends and was preceded in death by her father, George. Patricia will be remembered as a bright, shining light of love and caring and will be deeply missed. Family, friends and others whose lives Patricia touched are invited to the Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels on Friday, September 29th, for a memorial starting at 10am followed by a service beginning at 11am to celebrate her life.
