No. 20 Texas A&M beats UH in opener

COLLEGE STATION — Danni Williams scored 21 points, Khaalia Hillsman and Anriel Howard both recorded doubledoubles, and No. 20 Texas A&M claimed a seasonopening 83-65 victory over Houston in the first round of the Preseason WNIT on Friday night.

Hillsman had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Howard finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Dorian Branch led UH with 17 points.
