Warriors win 14th straight road game

CHICAGO — Klay Thompson scored 38 points, Stephen Curry added 30, and the Golden State Warriors beat the Chicago Bulls 119-112 on Wednesday night for their franchise record-tying 14th straight road win.

Kevin Durant had 19 points as Golden State moved into a tie for the third-longest road winning streak in a season in NBA history.

Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points for Chicago, which dropped to 14-8 since its 3-20 start. Robin Lopez scored 12 of his 16 points in the first half.

The Warriors played without Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala due to injuries, and Jordan Bell sprained his left ankle when he challenged Lopez’s dunk on the Bulls’ first possession. Bell stayed down for a while and then was helped to his feet. He tried to put pressure on his leg and grimaced before he opted for a wheelchair ride off the court.

The Bulls made a late charge, closing to 112-107 with 2:55 left, but Thompson made two foul shots with 17.4 seconds left to secure the win.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 21 points, Dwight Howard had another double-double and Charlotte used a record-setting first half to beat visiting Washington in coach Steve Clifford’s return.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 34 points, Patty Mills scored 25 points behind seven 3-pointers, and San Antonio beat host Brooklyn.

Jonas Valanciuna­s had 17 points and 16 rebounds, C.J. Miles scored 21 points, and host Toronto beat Detroit.

HAWKS 94, PELICANS 93

Kent Bazemore scored 20 points and hit a jumper with 2.1 seconds remaining as Atlanta rallied from 19 points down to beat visiting New Orleans.

Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points to help Oklahoma City beat visiting Los Angeles.

Tyreke Evans led the way with 23 points along with 10 assists to lift host Memphis over New York.

Hassan Whiteside had 27 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks as visiting Miami beat Milwaukee.

Donovan Mitchell scored 34 points, and Rodney Hood added 25 points off the bench as Utah beat host Sacramento.
