Ninth annual “Bike Through the
Forest and Hills,” a recommended training ride for the BP MS 150, begins Saturday morning in Coldspring at the San Jacinto County Courthouse. Route distances of 12, 23, 35 and 46 miles allow riders of all skill and fitness levels to participate. The ride offers SAG support, multiple rest stops and the traditional banana muffins. BikeHouston has launched a
design competition to feature Houston art on new signature water bottles being developed. Design entry deadline is February 9, 2018. BikeHouston staff will pick the top five designs and post them in their mid-month newsletter for voting by the membership. The design winning the most votes will win, and the winner will be announced on March 1. The bottles will be sold at Houston Bike Barn locations, and proceeds from sales will benefit BikeHouston. Design specification details are posted at bikehouston.org.
