2 teens arrested in woman’s death

Police have arrested and charged two teenagers for their alleged role in an elderly woman’s death.

David Paul Jones and Teihjon Shannon, both 17, were picked up by Westside patrol officers Monday on suspicion of killing Clara Jeanne Barna, 75, police stated.

On June 17, the two teens allegedly followed Barna into her garage in west Houston with the intention of stealing her car, a 2003 Buick LeSabre, police stated. The pair struggled with Barna and stole her car keys, according to police.
