SHELL SHACK TO MAKE HOUSTON DEBUT
Shell Shack, a seafood concept with six locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, will open its first Houston restaurant in July at 2412 Washington. The chain specializes in seafood boils of king crab, snow crab, Dungeness crab, shrimp and crawfish in flavors such as Cajun, garlic, lemon pepper and “The Kitchen Sink,” in spice levels mild, medium, hot and diablo. The restaurant — in the former Social Junkie Sports Bar location, which previously was home to the historic Pig Stand — will feature two bars, two patios and seats for 317 guests with 150 patio seats.
