IES grows in West with acquisition

Houston-based IES Holdings has established a presence in Salt Lake City with the acquisition of the assets of Electrical Contractors North.

The deal, made through the company's IES Residential subsidiary, expands its electrical contracting business for apartment and hotel construction.

IES Holdings employs 3,500 in the United States.
