Get ready to tailgate with gear made for the great outdoors

- By Melissa Aguilar STAFF WRITER

Ready to tailgate? If you’re wondering what to serve, football fans in the South and Northeast prefer wings at their tailgate, while those in the Midwest and West want burgers. Beer is overwhelmingly the favorite beverage with both sexes everywhere, with only 5 percent requesting wine, according to a recent RetailMeNot survey.

Respondents also said it wouldn’t be a tailgate without: a cooler, grill, team gear, TV and canopy, in that order.
