CATHERINE MESSINA CASH

1929-2018

Catherine Messina Cash passed away at home on October 22, 2018. Catherine was born in Houston, Texas on October 7, 1929 to Josephine Cimino Messina and Rosario Messina. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary, St. Agnes Academy High School and graduated from Houston Business College.

Catherine served as Secretary and President of The Charity Guild of St. Joseph and on the Board of the Italian Cultural Center for three years.

She is survived by her children: Lee Cash and wife Helene, Diane Cash, Rosalind Cash Pipes and husband Lee; her grandchildren: Seth Cash, Leonard Cash, Katie Cash and husband Joe Jacquez, Angela Pipes, Kristin Pipes Brazzel and husband Matt, Aimee Pipes; her great grandchildren: Michael Pipes, Molly, Cole and Emma Brazzel. The father of her children Luke Anthony Cash predeceases her.

Pallbearers: Seth Cash, Leonard Cash, Joe Jacquez, Matt Brazzel, Michael Pipes, and Joe Mancuso

Visitation and services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77098 on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Visitation beginning at 9am, with a Rosary to be recited at 10am, Funeral Mass at 10:15am. Interment to follow at 12:15pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery., 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077.
