Rockets (22-16) update: Their loss in Portland on Saturday snapped a six-game winning streak. The Rockets have won 11 of 13 games and nine straight at home. … The Rockets have an eight-game winning streak against the Nuggets, including a 109-99 victory in Denver this season. … The Rockets fell from first to fourth in offensive rating in the past three games, but are just .7 of a point per 100 possession­s from the top spot. … James Harden’s streak of 10 consecutiv­e games scoring at least 35 points is the fifth longest in NBA history, one game shy of Kobe Bryant’s run for the longest since Wilt Chamberlai­n. … Guard Austin Rivers, who had a season-high 21 points Saturday, has scored in double figures in all six of his games with the Rockets, making 41.5 percent of his 3s. … Danuel House Jr. has averaged 10.7 points on 57.1 percent shooting and 50 percent 3-point shooting in seven games as a starter. … Guards Eric Gordon (bruised right knee) and Chris Paul (strained left hamstring) are out.
