-

1939-2019

Sara Jane Giovannelli, age 79, was surrounded by those who loved her when she entered God’s presence on Saturday, January 5, 2019.

Sara was born in Great Bend, Kansas on December 24,1939 to Nadine and Ed Hannon. She was one of four girls and throughout Sara’s life her sisters meant the world to her. Sara had a long career in marketing and in the later years of her career she enjoyed working for the Texas School of Business, counseling and placing young graduates. The pain and physical difficulties that followed the accident would be with her for the rest of her life and yet Sara never let this prevent her from her work and enjoying others.

In 1995 Sara lost her son Phil Giovanelli. She missed him and was eager to be with him again.

Sara is survived by her sons John (Tana) and Eddie Giovannelli (Alyce),

by her grandchildren Sasha, Rose, Erica, Leslie, Michael and Nicholas, by her great grandchildren Claire, CeCe, Sir MichaelT, Adrianna, and Michael T. Jr. Her loss is also felt by her sister Cathy Elliott (John), her twin sister Sandra Harrell (Eddie) and her sister Pat Hannon. Sara adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, friends, family, and dear friend Jim Williams.
