Here are some of the spots scheduled for Sunday’s Super Bowl, airing at 5:30 p.m. on CBS and KHOU / Channel 11.

An asterisk denotes ads that are available for online viewing as of Thursday.

Celebritie­s

* Amazon: Harrison Ford, Forrest Whitaker, astronauts Scott and Mark Kelly and “Broad City” stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson suffer through a few wrinkles in Amazon’s beta testing program for Alexa-powered gadgets.

* Bubly: Singer Michael Bublé sees the name of Pepsi’s sparkling water as a typographi­cal error.

* Bumble: Tennis star Serena Williams promotes female empowermen­t for the dating/social-media app.

* Colgate: Actor Luke Wilson uses Colgate Total toothpaste to facilitate the fine art of close talking.

* Doritos: Chance the Rapper and the Backstreet Boys reprise “I Want It That Way” for Flamin’ Hot Nacho chips.

* Expensify: Adam Scott portrays a record label exec trying to convince rapper 2 Chainz and associates to organize their receipts for proper expense account submission.

* Hyundai: “Arrested Developmen­t” frontman Jason Bateman portrays a metaphoric­al elevator operator hawking the company’s “shoppers assurance” program amid a lot of other really bad life options.

* M&M’s: Talking chocolate gets on Cristina Applegate’s nerves.

* Mercedes-Benz: The game’s at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so naturally the carmaker will be in the ad mix with Atlanta’s own Ludacris and, believe it or not, Wile E. Coyote.

* Michelob Ultra: Singer Maluma and a buff robot star in a commentary on the relative merits of dedication and recreation.

* Michelob Ultra Pure Gold: Amid lush Hawaiian scenery, Zoe Kravitz contemplat­es the tactile wonders of A-B’s organic brewski. NFL: Hall of Famers celebrate the NFL’s upcoming 100th season in 2019. * Olay: Sarah Michelle Gellar uses #KillerSkin ointments to thwart baddies that go bump in the night. Alas, Buffy fans, she doesn’t stake anybody.

* Pepsi: Steve Carell, Cardi B and Atlanta rapper Lil Jon say Pepsi is OK.

Persil ProClean: Actor Peter Hermann returns for a second appearance to stamp out clothing stains.

* Planters: With a cameo appearance by Charlie Sheen, Mr. Peanut speeds through city streets to save Alex Rodriguez from boring party snacks.

* Sketchers: Tony Romo floats through life with the aid of convenienc­e, including slip-on shoes.

* Stella Artois: Sarah Jessica Parker, as Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City,” and Jeff Bridges, as The Dude from “The Big Lebowski,” abide with new drink choices, to the amazement of all. Turkish Airlines: A 30-second clip from the airline’s six-minute film about Istanbul landmarks was directed by “Alien” director Ridley Scott.

Humor

* Bon and Viv Spiked Seltzer: Mermaids hawk A-B’s fizzy alcoholic product to a “Shark Tank”-style investment panel of real — sort of — sharks. Bud Light: TBA, although it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Bud Knight show up again.

Burger King: The King deigns to address his public on Super Bowl Sunday for the first time since 2006.

Devour: The Kraft Heinz frozen-food brand equates lust for microwaved edibles with other lusts of the flesh.

* Pringles: Denied the joy of partaking in the 318,000 possible flavor combinatio­ns to stack three Pringles chips, a voiceactiv­ated smart speaker is forced instead to play “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc. Tragedy. Head and Shoulders: The shampoo company honors “headstrong” personalit­ies with unusual jobs.

Animals

* Avocados from Mexico: Kristen Chenoweth narrates as humans, supervised by their dogs, do tricks in exchange for guacamole.

* Budweiser: To the background of “Blowin’ in the Wind,” the dalmatian and Clydesdale­s help A-B tout its reliance on wind energy to power its breweries.

* WeatherTec­h: The car mat company has branched out into pet feeders.
