Regarding “Warren planned fanfare, instead gets criticism” (Newsmakers, Feb. 7): Sen. Elizabeth Warren sent her sample to a DNA test site and it came back to have some American Indian genes.

My brother also sent off a sample. He did not find out anything that we didn’t expect. He has also been mapping our father’s family tree. Occasionally, he will find a surprise. The latest was that Henry the VIII was a cousin. Of course, it was something like 14 times removed, but it was there. Does this make me a royal? Susan O’Driscoll, The Woodlands
