Rummel Creek students make a splash on graduation day
Will Dudley, 11, above center, lobs a water balloon back into the water-firing crowd and Lasse Meiser, 11, at left, takes a hit as dozens of Rummel Creek Elementary School fifth-graders race down the road during the annual “Boogie Down Brittmoore.” The tradition, which started in 2004, has students’ families — armed with water balloons and water guns — soak the children to mark their graduation to Memorial Middle School. The fun ended with a pool party including swim time and lunch.
