Logano holds on to win Cup race at Michigan
BROOKLYN, Mich. — Joey Logano won his second NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race of the season, holding off Kurt Busch and Martin Truex Jr. in overtime Monday.
Logano was trying to hold on to a dwindling lead over Truex and Busch with five laps remaining, but around that time, Erik Jones went onto the grass, bringing out the caution flag that forced overtime. Logano and Truex were up front on the restart, along with Kurt and Kyle Busch, and Logano pulled ahead and held on.

• Indianapolis offensive tackle Antonio Garcia will miss the first four games of this season after being suspended for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. He will be eligible to participate in this week’s three-day minicamp, training camp and preseason games despite Monday’s announcement. He can return to the playing field Sept. 30. are sons of former Florida State coaching legend Bobby Bowden.

• UTEP quarterback Kai Locksley, the son of Maryland football coach Michael Locksley, was suspended from the team after he was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, terroristic threat and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to El Paso County jail records. Locksley was released on bonds totaling $2,900. Locksley threw for 937 yards, completing 49.1 percent of his passes, in nine games last season. He also ranked second on the team in rushing with 340 yards.
