Methodist Primary Care Group, Veronica Beard get new locations
Methodist Primary Care Group will open a 6,875-squarefoot location at Tomball Marketplace at the southwest corner of Texas 249 and FM 2920 in September. Other tenants in the center include Academy Sports + Outdoors, Kohl’s, Ross Dress for Less and Marshalls. Brad Kilbride with Weingarten Realty represented the landlord inhouse. Coy Davidson, senior vice president with Colliers International, represented the tenant.
Texan Bank, a Houston-based community bank, plans to open at 3736 Westheimer in River Oaks in early fall. The 3,100square-foot branch will share a building with Frank’s Americana Revival. Owned by Friendswood Capital Corp., Texan Bank has grown to more than $330 million in total assets with four locations in Houston, Sugar Land, Clear Lake and Friendswood.
Zanti Cucina Italiana has opened at the new Westgate Crossing Shopping Center at the corner of 10000 Research Forest Drive and Egypt Lane in The Woodlands and Magnolia area. Owned and operated by the Pelaez brothers, the 9,000square-foot restaurant can accommodate about 227 guests, including a private dining room for 45.
Veronica Beard, a contemporary clothing brand headquartered in Manhattan, will open a store in the River Oaks District in August where the retailer has signed a long-term lease for 1,750 square feet. Launched by sistersin-laws Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard in 2010, Veronica Beard opened a flagship store in Dallas in 2017. Other stores in River Oaks District, at 4444 Westheimer, include Akris, Canali, Brunello Cuccinelli, Joie, Theory, Dior, Harry Winston, Hermes, NARS and Stella McCarty. Jody Israelsky represented The Festival Cos., while Stephanie Unwin represented Veronica Beard in the lease.
The 331⁄3 @ thirtyfourth retail development at the southeast corner of 34th Street and Ella Boulevard in the Garden Oaks neighborhood has signed several tenants, according to Shop Cos. New tenants are Bubble Egg, represented by John Ngyuen and Grace La of NewQuest Properties, 1,200 square feet; Primp and Blow, represented by Mark Leblanc of Keyser Commercial Real Estate, 1,386 square feet; Look Eye Care, represented by Mike Kjellin of Carr Healthcare Realty, 1,486 square feet; Luce Ave Coffee, represented by Salvador Aragon of Le Commercial, 2,091 square feet; Tropical Smoothie Café, represented by Lane Zieben of Retail Connection, 1,373 square feet; and Loveland Yoga, represented by Chris Boyd of Xite Health Care Real Estate, 1,786 square feet. Christie Amezquita, Suzy Thompson with Shop Cos. represented the landlord, Crescere Capital.
Amerisleep, a Phoenix, Ariz.based firm that launched in 2010 as an e-commerce mattress retailer, has opened a 2,000square-foot showroom in The Galleria. Amerisleep entered the Houston market with a store at in LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, and will open its next location in Baybrook Mall. The company uses plant-based materials and a zero-emissions manufacturing process at its Indiana and Texas factories to produce its five models of memory foam mattresses, which start from around $1,200 for a queen size.
Valvoline has opened a company-owned Valvoline Instant Oil Change service center at 11745 N. Grand Parkway East, New Caney. In addition to offering oil changes in about 15 minutes, Valvoline performs preventive maintenance services such as transmission, radiator and air-conditioning services; replacement of wiper blades and light bulbs; and tire rotation. Valvoline now has 11 service centers in the Houston market.
Xfinity has leased 1,750 square feet in the Webster Clearlake 45 Shopping Center, at 820 Bay Area Blvd., Webster. Lunden McGill of Baker Katz represented the landlord. Bunny McLeod and Katherine Wildman of Wulfe & Co. and Margaret Regan of Regan & Associates represented the tenant.
A local investor has purchased the North Triangle Shops ,a collection of three fully-leased, single-tenant buildings along with a two-tenant strip building totaling 16,060 square feet from Braun Enterprises. Ryan West, John Indelli and Ethan Goldberg of JLL represented the seller. Situated on 2.59 acres on the southwest corner of FM 1960 and Interstate 45 in Spring, the tenants consist of James Coney Island, T-Mobile, Shipley’s Donuts, CiCi’s Pizza and PLS Check Cashers.
