Beer, wine, margarita festivals make a toast to life

Every year, more people are attracted to festivals gathering under the same roof local breweries, wineries from the Hill Country, the U.S. and foreign wine makers as well as tequilas, all of them making their way into local markets. These events bring plenty of opportunit­ies to make a toast to life, have a little fun and enjoy yourself.

The 10th Annual Brewmaster­s Craft Beer Festival kicks off Friday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. and goes through Sunday, Sept. 1, at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa, and Convention Center, at 1 Hope Blvd., Galveston. The Wine & Jazz Fest Houston 2019 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7-8, starting at noon at Midtown Park, 2811
