Man shot after sports argument

A man was shot late Sunday after arguing with another patron in an Humble bar about their football teams, authorities said.

The fight broke out about 11:30 p.m. inside Two Wheels Down on Greens Road, authorities said.

The men were asked to leave, and the fighting continued into the parking lot. There, one of the men pulled out a firearm and shot the other man, Houston police said.

The wounded man is expected to survive.
