ROSANNA GOMEZ MORENO
Rosanna Gomez Moreno is coFounder and Partner at McMains & Moreno Global Consultants. Moreno provides strategic leadership working with clients to create, establish and structure long-term goals in healthcare development and infrastructure projects in Latin America.
A globally recognized expert in medical tourism and international patient program infrastructure, Moreno is a frequent contributor to medical tourism publications covering global competitiveness, legal implications of the global health industry, structuring international patient programs, marketing medical tourism online and perceptions of medical tourism destinations.
She participates in global health care and medical tourism conferences covering in-depth overviews of successful medical tourism programs for hospitals and clinics, global marketing and positioning, the travel and insurance industries impact on medical tourism and providing case studies of existing health care clusters, globally.
Moreno received her BA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, an MA in International Relations focused on Economics in Latin America from St. Mary’s University and a JD from South Texas College of Law Houston. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has served on many Houston nonprofit boards. Most recently, she has served as Chair of the Arte Público Press Advisory Board, the largest Latino literary publisher in the country headquartered at the University of Houston.
Moreno has received numerous awards and recognition, which include the Global Outreach Award from the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the Ford Motor Company Mujeres Legendarias de Ford Award, Houston International Trade Development Council’s International Rising
Star Award, the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Woman of Achievement Award from the National Museum of Mexican Art of Chicago and Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Hispanic Women in Leadership Top 100 Hispanic Women in Leadership: Outstanding Community Leader Award and Mujeres de las Americas Award, Female Executive of the Year at Sucesos Newspaper and CITGO Petroleum Company’s “Tribute to the Hispanic Woman,” featured in the Canal ONCE (Mexico’s PBS) documentary titled, A Latina Professional: International Business Development.
