CityCentre lands new and expanded shops and restaurants.
CityCentre, a project of Midway at Beltway 8 near the Katy Freeway with 350,500 square feet of retail, reached 94.4 percent occupancy with several new and expanded leases. UBreakIFix leased 1,040 square feet in the Commons at Willowbrook at FM 1960 and Texas 249 in northwest Houston. Kathy King and Debbie Adams of Edge Realty Partners represented the landlord. Bruce Frankel of Frankel Development Group represented the tenant.
Taco Cabana opened a 2,925-square foot restaurant at 12714 W. Lake Parkway in northeast Houston. Part of Fiesta Restaurant Group, the location seats 62 inside and has outdoor seating for 32. A grand opening with music and activities will be held Feb. 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Whiskey Charlie’s Liquor leased 2,500 square feet in Grand Morton Town Center, at the Grand Parkway and Morton Ranch Road, Katy, from NewQuest Properties. Josh Friedlander and Rebecca Le of NewQuest represented the landlord. Marc Hughes of Nexthome Realty Center represented the tenant.
Jordan’s Sweet Shoppe has leased 1,265 square feet in Metropark Square Shopping Center, 8888 Metropark Drive, Shenandoah, from Metropark Square Ltd. Rebecca Le and Grace La of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord.
Drake’s Burgers & Shakes leased a 2,989-square-foot space at The Centre at Greatwood, 6560 Greatwood Pkwy., Sugar Land. Opening is planned in the second quarter. Steven Stone represented the landlord, Houston-based KM Realty, in-house. The restaurant, which will have an arcade room and serve wine and craft beer, will occupy both the former spaces for Gojira and Twisted Blends Espresso Bar & Café. The deal brings the development to 100 percent occupancy.
Eggcellence Café leased 2,646 square feet in the Baybrook Village Shopping Center, at 1507 Bay Area Blvd, Webster. Katherine Wildman of Wulfe & Co. represented the tenant. Elise Weatherall of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord, OWRF Baybrook Village.
American Shaman has leased 1,200 square feet at 7909 W.
Grand Parkway S., Richmond, from Monticello Houston Holdings. Andrew Alvis of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. Danna Sossen of ICO Commercial represented the landlord.
A local investor purchased Shops at Aliana II, a 12,049square-foot development of Hunington Properties at 18130 W. Airport Blvd. in Richmond. The center was built in 2019 within the Aliana community. Hunington represented the sellers, Shops at Aliana LLC, and has been retained by the new owner to provide third party management and leasing.

Cleaning Services of The Woodlands-Spring, an independently owned and operated commercial cleaning franchise. The company provides janitorial services and floor care to commercial facilities in The Woodlands, Spring and North Houston areas.
The Advance Auto Parts single-tenant building containing 6,777 square feet at 13808 Cypress North Houston Road in Cypress has changed hands. Marcus & Millichap marketed the property for the seller.
A-Max Auto Insurance leased 1,400 square feet at 3020 Fry Road. Patrick Keegan of NAI Partners represented the landlord.
