If you loved the blockbuster “Crazy Rich Asians” movie, get ready to meet the real-life Ho family.

They are the Houstonians at the center of HBO Max’s docuseries inspired by the movie and Kevin Kwan’s bestselling “Crazy Rich Asian” book trilogy. The series is wrapping up filming in Houston and is expected to air later this year.

The Ho family is led by patriarch Binh Ho and his wife, Hue Ho.

Their show is titled, “The Hos,” with eight 30-minute episodes about the Vietnamese immigrant family who built a multimillion dollar bank and real estate development company in Houston, according to Variety.com. The series will give viewers a glimpse into their lavish Houston lifestyle and showcase their tight family connections. And, like the movie, there will be drama. Here’s the family breakdown: Binh Ho, 71, originally from Vietnam. His hard work has paid off, and he is now the owner of a successful bank. Although Binh is living the American Dream, he feels the need to control every move his children make.

Hue Ho, 66, Binh’s loving wife and the matriarch of the family. Hue is the perfect-looking, highly critical mom who thinks her children can do no wrong.

Judy Ho, 39, the first born of Binh and Hue Ho. Judy is the responsible and reliable family member. She is a mom to three kids and is going through a divorce.

Washington Ho, 38, son. He is the “former” playboy of the family with a reputation of dating questionable women and partying way too hard.

Lesley Ho, 34, Washington’s wife. She is an independent, outspoken and down-to-earth woman who juggles parenting their two children with a career as a pharmacist.

Tina, 58, aunt. Aunt Tina likes to be noticed and makes sure that everybody pays attention to her.

Sammy, 29, cousin. Sammy lives for the moment, even if it doesn’t always work out in her favor. If reality TV is anything like the books or movie, we’re in for a treat.
