Valley Ranch Town Center draws new tenants
YogaSix leased 1,945 square feet in Creekside Park West, the newest retail component in Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands. The studio will offer a variety of classes, from strength and agility to flexibility and balance when it opens this spring. Lane Zieben of The Retail Connection represented the tenant. Rip Reynolds represented owner Howard Hughes Corp. in-house. YogaSix has 42 studios across the U.S. The Woodlands location is the first for franchise owners David and Melissa Reitz and the second in the Greater Houston area.
Smoothie King has opened at Valley Ranch Town Center, a development of The Signorelli Co. at the Grand Parkway and U.S. 59 in New Caney. Greg Slusky of Sluco Realty represented Smoothie King franchisee Warren Alberty. Brody Farris represented The Signorelli Co. inhouse. Mod Pizza, a quick-serve artisan-style pizza and salad restaurant, and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, discount eyewear and eye examination provider, will open in Valley Ranch Town Center this summer. The center has more than 50 shops and restaurants and is part of the 1,400-acre Valley Ranch master-planned community. Snooze, an A.M. Eatery leased 3,800 square feet at Kingwood Place Shopping Center, at 30129 Rock Creek Drive in Kingwood. Opening is planned in August. Stephen Tou of The Retail Connection represented the landlord. Snooze also plans to open a 4,000-square-foot restaurant in the Chimney Hill Retail Centers in College Station in February 2021. Clint Oldham and Brett Boatner of Oldham Goodwin represented the landlord. Baker Katz represented Snooze in both leases.
Uniforms n More leased 3,779 square feet at Gulfgate Center, at the northwest corner of Interstate 45 South and Loop 610. Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Hemline opened a 1,000square-foot boutique at 1533 North Shepherd Drive, Suite 110, in the Heights, selling women’s apparel, shoes and accessories. The store, operated by franchisee Shannon O’Shea Martin, represents the brand’s fifth in the Houston market and 29th overall. Others are in River Oaks, Rice Village, The Woodlands and CityCentre. Hungry Howie’s Pizza ,a chain known for its flavored crust pizza, leased 1,500 square feet in Westbridge Plaza, at 9215 West Road at Beltway 8. Kyle Knight of Weitzman represented the tenant. Huntington Properties represented the landlord.
SafeSplash/SwimLabs ,a nationwide network of swim schools, leased 5,308 square feet in Churchill Farms Retail Center, a new retail project located at 4040 FM 1463. Kyle Knight with Weitzman represented the tenant in cooperation with William Shell with JLL. The center is designed for retail, medical and service tenants.
Steadfast Tact leased 1,000 square feet at Lincoln Plaza, 4521 Highway 6 North. Eric Broussard of Resolut RE represented the tenant. Kathy Jones of Investar Real Estate represented the landlord.
