Head Start families: The Harris County Department of Education is distributing food, gloves, sanitizer and masks to parents of children in Head Start. Drive-thru distribution is 10-11 a.m. at these locations: April 23, La Porte Head Start, 927 S. 1st, La Porte; April 24, J.D. YMCA of Greater Houston: The YMCA has partnered with the Houston and Montgomery County food banks and others to provide food to families in need. Its schedule for the rest of this week is:
