Central City Co-Op:

An annual membership ($120) is required to shop year-round, but nonmember customers can purchase a $7 day pass at checkout. Its mixed vegetable share comes in small ($25), medium ($35) or large ($45) boxes and has about 90 percent locally grown and 10 percent nationally grown produce. The mixed fruit share comes in small ($12) and large ($22) boxes and is a mix of local and national. The single-origin farm share hails from Gundermann Acres Farm and costs $50. It is open Wednesdays with curbside pickup (10:15 a.m.-6 p.m.) and delivery only. Place orders by 9 p.m. on Sundays for pickup the following Wednesday. centralcityco-op.com

Houston Dairymaids:

Mix it up with cheese from the store’s to-go bag, with five rotating selections for $45 (about 1.75 pounds). The pack is available for pickup and delivery (within a 5-mile radius). houstondairymaids.com
