A story on A1 Thursday incorrectly stated the hours of beach closures in unincorporated areas of Galveston County, which have since been modified. Bolivar Peninsula beaches will be closed from 5 a.m. Friday to just after midnight Monday, except to foot traffic only 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
