Monograms add classic style to home goods.

The marketplace is filled with things that can be monogrammed, one of the most classic, lasting ways to personalize everything from fine china to barware, playing cards to linens, mugs to trinket trays.

Entrepreneur Elizabeth Nordt was working at Exxon Mobil in TheWoodlands, dreaming of a more creative job, when she launched her Elizabeth Rose Designs stationery company on Etsy as a side gig. After just four or five months, Nordt quit her day job to run her design company full time.

She’s transitioned to a website, where she shows off clever note cards, stationery, gift tags and stickers, all of which can be personalized and monogrammed.
