Forth and Nomad adds coffee bar to Heights lifestyle shop

Forth and Nomad, a lifestyle marketplac­e of clothing, home goods and wellness, has carved out a full-service coffee and pastry bar in its 4,500-squarefoot store at 731 Yale St. in the Heights. The Coffee Bar at Forth and Nomad sells craft coffee, espresso and seasonal drinks and pastries from downtown Houston bakery Koffeteria and Magnol French Baking in Uptown. Tea from TeaSip, a local producer of organic tea, is on the menu. The coffee bar adds to other new offerings that include the Candle Bar, where customers can create custom scents, and Baby Nomad, which offers clothing and products for babies and toddlers. The store has a 1,000-square-foot patio with outdoor seating.

“When we founded Forth and Nomad in 2017, we sought to create an ever-evolving space that features carefully curated products from emerging brands,” co-founder Morgan Sommer said in an announceme­nt. “Three years later, we’re exploring new, big ways to serve our loyal community of customers. The Coffee Bar at Forth and Nomad — a place where people can relax, recharge and work on their dreams or their day job — is so fitting for our broader mission of cultivatin­g an environmen­t that allows space for productive self-expression and community.”

The coffee bar will operate from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m on weekends.

The Port of Peri Peri leased a 2,500-square-foot restaurant space at the Shops at Vintage Lakes, at 10850 Louetta Road, in northwest Houston. Opening is planned by the end of the year. It will be the second area location for the national chain, which specialize­s in flame grilled chicken. Rusty Lilley and Jazz Hamilton with CBRE represente­d the landlord, 2ML Real Estate Interests. Desi Brothers Farmers Market opened an 18,150-square-foot

grocery store in First Colony Marketplac­e, at 4260 Texas 6 in Sugar Land. Julia Alston represente­d the landlord, Fidelis Realty Partners. Ray Kang with Marcus & Millichap, represente­d the tenant.

HardCore Tattoo leased 1,187 square feet at West Oaks Plaza, 2703 S. Texas 6. Myra Vorrice of Resolut RE represente­d the tenant. Abdul Sabha of Hunington Properties represente­d the landlord.

Lumin Lash leased 1,600 square feet in Riverstone Plaza,

4821 LJ Parkway, Sugar Land, from Riverstone Plaza LLC. Andrew Alvis and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represente­d the landlord.

Sylvan Learning Center

leased 1,000 square feet in the First Colony Commons Shopping Center, at 15425 U.S. 59 S. and Williams Trace Blvd., Sugar Land, for a tutoring and education center for kindergart­en through 12 grade. Hugh Herman of Cushman & Wakefield represente­d the tenant. Kristen Barker and Katherine Wildman of Wulfe & Co. represente­d the landlord.
